A Learning experience

(1)
I finally got around to learning a little about the mechanics of Blogger. It's been a few years since the last time I got into the 'Settings' and 'Layout' sections and there is a lot of new stuff to learn. For the moment I'm using this blog as an experimental/learning device. I'll learn how to make changes to my other blogs by experimenting with this one first. Notice that I have added my first 'blogroll link' on the left side above the existing Google News link. I have also posted my first comment, just to see how it all works. Regarding the 'blogroll' feature, I'm a bit leery, because I usually write my blogs while more or less drunk, and I'm not at all sure that other bloggers would like being associated with some of the stuff I am liable to come up with while in that condition. We'll see...

Embracing Nature

(1)

I will grant you that so far we have a somewhat less than auspicious beginning for this blog: the previous post could have been much more artfully crafted. Nevertheless, the point seems to have been made: do you want your son to be an abject conformist? Do you want your son to cower in the face of inappropriate criticism? Do you want your son to wilt in the face of adversity? Then by all means circumcise him! He will fit in nicely, especially in New York City locker rooms. He will 'go with the flow' as a matter of personal style. He will become a mindless economic unit who will do his duty to the very end and then he will die.

But if, on the other hand, you want your son to develop his own unique personality, including the ability to stand against mindless social pressure, you need to present him with the option of 'skinning it back temporarily' in order to 'fit in temporarily.' You need to leave him as Nature made him, and you need to accept and appreciate whatever follows from that, whatever it may be.

Do You Live in New York City?

(2)
Rereading the previous post suggests that email is somewhat unreliable. Next question:
----------
ma: We want to circumcise our new son in order to save him from the trauma of the locker room. Is this a good idea?
me: Not at all. 'Locker-room trauma' is a subjective thing. I presume you mean that you want your son to look like the other boys while in the locker room, in order that he avoid teasing concerning his uncircumcised penis. Bad idea. Instruct your son to reply to penile criticism by pointing out that, whereas most boys cannot emulate his penis, he can emulate theirs by simply 'skinning it back.' They will immediately get the idea. Warning: some Jewish boys will be enraged and will want to circumcise your son immediately. Your son should be ready to defend against this understandable Jewish reaction. Do you live in New York City, by chance?

Go in Peace.

I trust that you have been warned. I trust that you have been warned never to ask questions, the answers to which you do not really want to know. I trust that you understand the very dangerous state into which you have placed yourselves: the state of being able to read the questions on this blog, and the answers to those questions. It is a very dangerous position. I warn you: Flee! Forget this website. Go in peace. Now! Immediately!
----------
(Pause, while ordinary people take the advice above. Several minutes later we are justified in answering the very first question:)
----------
I1: (first idiot) I must be here by mistake. I was looking for pussy.
me: We only serve pictures of pussy here. Not actual pussy.
I1: Good enough!
me: I conjecture that you are a young man. Correct?
I1: Correct!
me: And you found us via Blogger Play?
I1: Exactly. How did you know?!
me: Guess. How old are you?
I1: Thirteen.
me: Circumcised?
I1: Not yet.
me: Go in peace.

Stay Tuned

(1)
I created this blog some time ago while drunk. The idea was to answer some questions of possible readers of my other blogs (I do not allow comments on my blogs). My initial plan was to provide readers with an email address, then answer selected questions on this blog. I eventually rejected the idea, but did not terminate the blog. Now I think I have a use for this blog. We shall see...
